چکیده
The upcoming technological breakthrough in the cropping system will offer a more detailed insight into soil-to-plant, man-to-soil, and man-to-plant impacts, thus improving forecasting ensuring efficient in-field management. This study presents various on-the-go sensing procedures which were conducted order to evaluate quality of spatial estimations soil physical properties such as compaction, moisture content, bulk density texture. Standard statistical tools showed high positive correlations between specific resistance compaction (R2 = .75), electromagnetic conductivity content .72) tractor wheel slip .64). Variogram modeling autocorrelation gave highest prediction error for tillage (9.85%), followed by cone index (4.49%), (3.7%), (1.39%), clay + silt (.98%), (.95%) least was obtained (.58%). Central Composite Design (CCD) analysis confirmed significant contribution slip, while fine particle (clay silt) had major impact on measurement. Soil considerable importance CCD slip.

Spatial variability of some soil properties for site specific farming in northern Iran
Evaluating agricultural land management practices requires knowledge of soil spatial variability and understanding their relationships. Spatial distributions for fourteen soil physical and chemical properties were examined in a wheat field in Sorkhankalateh district, in Golestan province, Iran. 101 soil samples at the distances of 5m, 10m and 20m as nested grid were collected at the depth of 0-...

ABSTRACT- The information on the spatial properties of soil is vital to improve soil management and to increase the crop productivity. Geostatistical analysis technique is one of the most important methods for determining the spatial properties of soil. The aim of this study was to investigate spatial variability of soil chemical and physical attributes for field management in eastern Shiraz, I...

ited on sandy or on loamy sediments. Therefore, it is important to study not only the extent of surface spatial Analysis and interpretation of spatial variability of soils is a keyvariability, but also the distribution of subsurface and stone in site-specific farming. Soil survey maps may have up to 0.41ha inclusions of dissimilar soils within a mapping unit. The objectives deep soil horizons. ...
متن کاملCatchment-scale spatial variability analysis of soil hydro-physical properties in a semi-arid region of Iran
Soil hydrau-physical data are important for many hydrological modelings. They are the main variables controllingthe key processes such as water and chemicals movement and transport in the soil profiles. This study was conductedin order to analyze the spatial distribution of selected soil hydrau-physcial characteristics including infiltration rate(IR), saturated hydraulic conductivity (Ks), bulk...
متن کاملSpatial variability of magnetic soil properties
The presence of magnetic iron oxides in the soil can seriously hamper the performance of electromagnetic sensors for the detection of buried land mines and unexploded ordnance (UXO). Previous work has shown that spatial variability in soil water content and texture affects the performance of ground penetrating radar and thermal sensors for land mine detection. In this paper we aim to study the ...
